My first major assignment at Liberty Concepts was to create this new WordPress theme for The Smaller Learning Communities Project.

The Massachusetts Alliance of Portuguese Speakers is a non-profit organization with several offices in the Boston area. They needed a web site that they could update themselves, with content in Portuguese and English.

• Sitewide HTML, CSS and jQuery
• Built from Photoshop mockups

I wrote the HTML mockups for Photography.com based on Photoshop files from a designer at NameMedia.

• New page implementation
• jQuery features

We added some new pages to photo.net; I wrote the HTML mockups for them, with jQuery functionality, and they were implemented by the TCL programmer.

The pages included:

A listing page for the many active discussion forums (each forums’ description appears when the user mouses over the link).

A gallery page.

I built Cats.com from Photoshop mockups.

When the home page for mommy.com was redesigned with new features, I built the HTML mockup for it. Unfortunately the interactive Flash map was never implemented.

• Web site for Harvard University middle school program

The RALLY Prevention Program was run by a professor in the Human Development and Psychology department of the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I designed and built a web site for the program while working there as a staff assistant.
